Spain is one of the most popular destinations for tourists and has consistently remained in the top 5 tourist destinations over several years. In 2018, it was the second most visited nation in the world, after France, with~83 million international tourists. That is almost double the population of Spain! So what makes Spain so special? Ancient monuments, medieval castles, sunny beaches, vibrant cities and towns that party 24/7, bull fighting and bull runs, other weird festivals like Tomatina..…..very hard to say. Many of the tourists come from other parts of Europe.
Spain is a year long destination
Spain is a round the year destination though few months does see heavy rush and summers can get extremely hot is some places. Above all, Spain is good for any budget!
The top destinations in Spain include Barcelona, Madrid, San Sebastian, Canary Islands(Tenerife), Ibiza, Seville, Granada, Valencia, and Balearic Islands(Majorca). I have visited Madrid and Seville so far and looking forward to visiting other regions.

Madrid, the capital of Spain, is full of elegant boulevards and beautiful buildings.

Bullfight is a tradition in Spain that has continued over centuries. Not everyone though will enjoy watching the bulls being killed.

Seville is a charming little historic town in southern Spain. Home to Flamenco shows and Tapas.

Travel pointers
Spain provides plenty of choices for tourists and offers holidays at a reasonable cost.
